Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Draft — this policy is provided for review and should be checked against your obligations before it is relied upon.

Who we are

Globara Travel (“Globara”, “we”, “us”) is a boutique travel studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. For any question about your data, or to make a request, write to us at hello@globaratravel.com.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what you choose to send us through our enquiry form: your first and last name, email address, and — optionally — your phone number, home airport, where and when you’d like to travel, and any message you add. We use these details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and plan a journey with you.

We do not buy in personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Legal basis

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the EU / UK GDPR), we rely on your consent — given when you tick the consent box on the enquiry form — and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services.

How your information is stored

Enquiries are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and are readable only by Globara. When you submit the form we also receive an email notification (sent via Resend) so we can reply promptly. Both are data processors acting on our behalf; neither uses your details for their own purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above that help us operate the site and respond to you, and only where necessary for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to help you plan and take your trip, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time (see your rights below).

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies. It uses Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand which pages and journeys are read, so that we can make the site more useful. Until you accept it in the cookie bar shown on your first visit, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode): no cookies are set and your browser is not identified. If you accept, it sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years and identify your browser, not you. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser only.

You have not made a choice yet.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@globaratravel.com. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
